Due to market complexity, risk interdependency and worldwide regulatory changes, enterprise risk management (ERM) has assumed increased importance amongst not just financial institutions but enterprises of all business areas. This course provides an introduction to ERM. Topics covered include widely accepted ERM frameworks, the main risks faced by enterprises and various risk management techniques. Case studies in different business areas will also be discussed to facilitate appreciation of the importance and practicalities of ERM.
